Berry Lemonade Recipe (Makes ~6 servings)

 



Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

  • ½ cup fresh blueberries

  • ½ cup fresh raspberries (optional)

  • ¾ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–5 lemons)

  • ½ to ¾ cup sugar or honey (adjust to taste)

  • 4 cups cold water

  • 1–2 cups ice cubes

  • Lemon slices (for garnish)

  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

 Instructions:

1. Make the Berry Puree

In a blender, combine strawberries, blueberries, raspberries (if using), and ½ cup water. Blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds if desired.

2. Prepare the Lemonade

In a large pitcher, stir together the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar or honey until dissolved.

3. Combine & Chill

Add the berry puree and 4 cups of cold water to the lemon-sugar mixture. Stir well. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness to your liking.

4. Serve

Fill glasses with ice. Pour berry lemonade over the top and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves. Serve chilled.

 Variations:

  • Add sparkling water for a fizzy twist

  • Blend with ice for a frozen berry lemonade

  • Mix in vodka or gin for a grown-up version
